Ho Chi Minh City & Cu Chi Tunnels Full Day Tour

Morning: Ho Chi Minh City Tour 

Your guide will greet you at your accommodation and begin the journey through landmark sites in the heart of the city. Start at the Independence Palace, once the command center of the former South Vietnamese government and now an emblem of reunification. Continue to the elegant Notre Dame Cathedral and the charming Central Post Office, two iconic monuments from the French colonial period. Note: The Cathedral remains under restoration; visits are from outside only. Then, visit the War Remnants Museum, where thought-provoking exhibitions and wartime documents offer insight into moments that shaped Vietnam’s modern era. After that, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading out of the city.

Afternoon - Cu Chi Tunnels 

In the afternoon, you will depart for Cu Chi (approx. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, watch a short documentary that provides context to the extraordinary underground network built by local fighters. Follow your guide into the preserved tunnel site to see narrow passageways, hidden entrances, makeshift living quarters, command rooms, and defense traps — a striking reminder of the ingenuity and determination displayed during wartime. Afterward, enjoy a simple yet meaningful snack of cassava and hot tea, once a daily staple for those living beneath the jungle floor. Guests who wish can visit the nearby shooting range for an optional firing experience (self-paid). 

Relax on the return drive and arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City by early evening.
