Explore Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace, and Ho Chi Minh’s simple stilt house nestled in a tranquil garden. Not far away, the One Pillar Pagoda awaits with its curious lotus-shaped design, followed by a visit to the Temple of Literature - Vietnam’s first national university, where peaceful courtyards and ancient stone turtles invite quiet curiosity. In the afternoon, continue to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. With its life-size traditional houses and hands-on exhibits, it’s one of Hanoi’s most interactive museums for children. Later, head to the Old Quarter for a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. By early afternoon, return to Hanoi and step into a world of imagination at VinKE Edutainment Center, where children can role-play various careers in a vibrant setting. Just next door, the Vinpearl Aquarium showcases glowing jellyfish, tunnel tanks, and hundreds of marine species that will fascinate the whole family.

Leave the capital behind as your family sets out for Halong Bay - one of Vietnam’s most stunning natural wonders. After boarding your overnight cruise, enjoy a delicious lunch while sailing past limestone pillars rising from the emerald sea. The rest of the day is filled with kid-friendly activities: paddle a kayak along calm waters, explore a mysterious grotto, or join a cooking class led by the onboard chef. After your breakfast, you’ll be guided to visit the fishing village before checking out and have brunch at 10:00 am. Once ashore, your driver will take you to Noi Bai International Airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival in this coastal city, settle in at your beachside hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

After breakfast, set out to explore Da Nang’s highlights. Drive up the Son Tra Peninsula, a lush nature reserve with sweeping views of the sea, where playful monkeys can sometimes be seen in the treetops. On its slopes stands Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the towering 67-meter Lady Buddha watching over the coast. Continue to the Museum of Cham Sculpture to admire the world’s largest collection of Cham artworks. Before leaving the city, drive past Da Nang’s most famous modern landmark—the Dragon Bridge—with its gleaming golden body stretching across the Han River.
From here, a short drive takes you to Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch and a rest, enjoy a walking tour through its lantern-lit streets. Cross the Japanese Covered Bridge, a 400-year-old symbol of the town featured on the 20,000 VND banknote. Along this twisting mountain route, you'll find plenty of opportunities to pause and admire the spectacular coastline. You’ll arrive in Hue by early afternoon to check into your hotel. The rest of your day is free for relaxation or a calm stroll beside the Perfume River.

Start your day with a visit to the Imperial City, the historic heart of Hue and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Once served as the former imperial capital of Vietnam from 1802 - 1945, this sprawling complex is filled with grand palaces, ancient gates, and peaceful gardens all surrounded by thick fortress walls. As you explore the courtyards and halls, it’s easy to imagine the busy life of the royal court centuries ago - a place full of stories waiting to be discovered, especially for kids with big imaginations. Next, head to the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda, standing tall beside the Perfume River with its iconic octagonal tower. Then, visit the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, the 12th ruler of the Nguyen Dynasty, whose elaborate resting place is famous for its striking blend of traditional Vietnamese design and European influences, showcased through colorful mosaics and intricate stone carvings. The journey continues to Tan Phong Island, where you’ll enjoy traditional southern folk music and a rowing sampan ride through narrow palm-lined canals.
