Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam’s vibrant southern hub! Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, your local guide and driver will be waiting to greet the group and transfer everyone to the hotel for check-in.
After some time to rest, enjoy a warm welcome dinner at a local restaurant, where students can try authentic southern Vietnamese dishes and get to know their fellow travelers. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast, begin the day with a guided visit to two of the city’s most meaningful historical landmarks – the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. These sites offer powerful insights into Vietnam’s modern history and are integral parts of an educational journey in Vietnam.
Continue to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, both stunning examples of French colonial architecture. Later, explore Ben Thanh Market, where students can practice bargaining and observe the bustling local trade atmosphere.
In the afternoon, take a relaxing ride on the Saigon Waterbus, offering a different perspective of the city from the river.
As evening falls, gear up for an exciting street food tour by scooter, led by local guides. Students will experience the city’s nightlife and sample some of Saigon’s most beloved snacks.

This morning, the group will travel to Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network used during the resistance against American forces. Students will explore how Vietnamese soldiers and villagers adapted and survived underground during this time, gaining a deeper understanding of the country’s resilience and ingenuity.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to a Cricket Farm, where students discover how edible insects are raised as a sustainable food source. They’ll even have a chance to sample some crispy crickets—a fun, hands-on learning experience about sustainability and local livelihoods.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner at a selected restaurant.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Leave the city behind, you will set out for My Tho, a charming gateway to the Mekong Delta, where countless canals weave through fertile farmland. Hop on a traditional boat and glide along the river, taking in everyday scenes of local life—from stilt houses and fish farms to small villages shaded by coconut palms.
Lunch will be served at a riverside restaurant with signature Delta dishes. In the afternoon, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, an impressive Buddhist temple blending Vietnamese and Khmer architectural styles. Continue to nearby family workshops to watch how locals craft coconut candy and harvest honey, and sample freshly picked tropical fruits while enjoying a lively performance of Southern folk music.
The day offers students a rich perspective on the region’s culture and traditions before returning to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner and overnight stay.
