Tucked away in the mountains of Thanh Hoa Province, Pu Luong is where time seems to slow down and nature takes center stage. This Pu Luong Real Experience 2 Days adventure invites you to step off the beaten path and experience the authentic charm of northern Vietnam’s countryside — from floating lunches on gentle streams to local craft traditions and warm nights in a Thai stilt house. Here, life unfolds at a gentler pace, surrounded by emerald rice terraces, bamboo forests, and the warm smiles of the Thai people.
Depart from Hanoi early in the morning at around 6:45am by limousine bus for a scenic four-hour drive to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Upon arrival at about 11:00am, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to a traditional Thai stilt house—your peaceful base for the night.
After that, head to the pier and board a bamboo raft gently floating along the Cham Stream. Enjoy your lunch right on the water surrounded by serene nature, then cool off with a refreshing swim. In the afternoon, explore the Surprising Cave, one of Pu Luong’s hidden natural wonders, before returning by buffalo cart—a fun, authentic way to travel like a local.
Later in the day, around 5pm, immerse yourself in local life through hands-on activities such as rice milling, brocade weaving, or rice wine brewing. You can also try traditional games like archery or walking on stilts and join a lively Thai dance performance.
As the sun sets, savor a delicious dinner featuring local mountain dishes, then enjoy a few cups of jar wine with your hosts. Overnight in an ancient stilt house surrounded by nature in Pu Luong.
