Itinerary

At around 8:30am, You will be picked up from your hotel and start your journey at Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Hanoi, gracefully set by the tranquil West Lake. Continue to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you’ll visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, built for the commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh – Vietnam’s beloved leader, and his stilt house, where he lived and worked between 1958 and 1969. Nearby, explore the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique lotus-shaped structure rising from the middle of a pond, symbolizing purity and enlightenment.

Next, head to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university and a symbol of the country’s dedication to learning and respect for scholars. On the way, you’ll pass the well-known Hanoi Train Street, where you can stop briefly for photos if time permits.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and savor authentic Hanoi cuisine (at your own expense) before continuing to one of the city’s fascinating museums — choose between Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Vietnam History Museum, or Hoa Lo Prison, also known as the “Hanoi Hilton.”

In the late afternoon, head back to the city center for a short break by Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword), one of Hanoi’s most beloved landmarks. End your day with a leisurely cyclo tour through the Old Quarter’s narrow, bustling streets — a sensory experience filled with sights, sounds, and the vibrant rhythm of local life.
