Ha Long Bay – 1 Day Cruise

Your day begins with a hotel pickup in Hanoi’s Old Quarter between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. Sit back and enjoy a comfortable drive to Halong City, passing through peaceful rural scenery dotted with rice paddies and small villages. En route, stop for a short break to stretch your legs and sample local specialties.

Upon arriving at Tuan Chau Marina, step aboard your modern cruise and enjoy a welcome drink as your journey begins. The vessel soon glides into the heart of Halong Bay, where a freshly prepared Vietnamese lunch awaits—featuring local seafood and regional specialties. As you dine, the bay’s iconic limestone islets gradually appear on the horizon: the Stone Dog, Fighting Cock, and Incense Burner, each shrouded in legend. Towering cliffs and shimmering turquoise waters complete a breathtaking panorama, capturing the timeless beauty of this natural wonder. 

In the afternoon, cruise past Thumb Islet, a limestone formation shaped like an upraised finger, before stepping ashore to explore Thien Cung Cave—often hailed as one of the most beautiful caverns in Ha Long. Inside, shimmering stalactites and stalagmites sparkle under soft, colorful lights, creating the illusion of a vast underground palace sculpted by time. Continue to Ba Hang Fishing Village, where generations of fishermen have built their lives on the water. Here, you can paddle a kayak through tranquil lagoons framed by towering limestone peaks and take a refreshing swim in the bay’s clear, turquoise waters.

Back on board, unwind as the chef shows you how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. Enjoy a cup of fragrant tea and light snacks while the boat cruises gently back to the harbor. As the sun sets over the bay, golden light spills across the limestone peaks and the water shimmers in soft hues of pink and amber - a serene finale to your Halong adventure. 

Upon docking at the harbor, get in the car for your transfer back to Hanoi, arriving in the city around 8:00 - 8:30pm.
