On the way, stop at the scenic Hai Van Pass, celebrated for its sweeping mountain and sea views. Arrive in Hue by late afternoon, check into your hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

In the afternoon, venture beyond the city to uncover Hue’s countryside. Stop at Duong No Village, home to a traditional market, a centuries-old communal house, and a memorial honoring President Ho Chi Minh. You will also have a chance to visit Hien Luong Bridge over the Ben Hai River, once the historic border dividing line between North and South Vietnam. After lunch at a local restaurant, board a boat for a scenic ride along the Son River to reach Phong Nha Cave. Explore the vast chambers, where striking rock formations have been given names such as “The Lion,” “The Fairy Caves,” and “The Royal Court.” By late afternoon, journey back to Hue, arriving in the evening.
