If you come early in the morning, you may leave your luggage at the hotel as check-in time is from 2pm. Early check in can be arranged on request, subject to availability. As today is a free day, you’ll have time to discover Hanoi at our own pace.

Morning (08:00 – 11:30)
After breakfast, our tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin the day. The tour starts at the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including Ba Dinh Square, where President Ho Chi Minh proclaimed Vietnam’s independence on Sep 2, 1945. A short walk brings you to the elegant French-colonial Presidential Palace and the simple stilt house where “Uncle Ho” lived and worked, before visiting the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, a symbol of Vietnamese spirituality. Continue to the Temple of Literature - Vietnam’s first national university, founded in 1070 - known for its ancient courtyards and Confucian heritage.

Afternoon (13:30 – 15:30)
After a local lunch (own arrangement), enjoy a leisurely cyclo ride through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, soaking in its vibrant streets and colonial architecture. The tour proceeds to Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake, connected by the red The Huc Bridge.

Evening (16:00 – 19:00)

Join a guided street food tour, starting with a walk through a local wet market before sampling Hanoi’s highlights: grilled pork, crispy pancakes, baguettes, dried beef salad, and steamed rice rolls.
