Highlights The Marble Mountain – Hoi An City 1 Day Tour
Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at around 8:00 am and take you to the Marble Mountains, a cluster of five marble and limestone hills named after the five natural elements. Take your time climbing to the summit for panoramic views of Da Nang’s stunning coastline and its long stretch of sandy beach. Along the way, visit ancient pagodas and mystical caves nestled within the mountains. As you descend, stop by Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, where you can admire intricate sculptures crafted by local artisans who have practiced this age-old art for generations.
Continue your journey with a 40-minute drive to Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has preserved its timeless charm for centuries. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) before spending the afternoon exploring the town’s narrow streets lined with ochre-colored houses and historic landmarks. Cross the Japanese Covered Bridge, a 400-year-old symbol of Hoi An featured on Vietnam’s 20,000 VND banknote. Step inside Phung Hung Ancient House, a beautifully preserved merchant residence blending Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese influences. Finally, visit the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, richly decorated and dedicated to Thien Hau, the sea goddess who protects sailors and fishermen.
As the sun sets, take a boat trip along the Hoai River and release flower lanterns onto the water — a magical tradition believed to bring good fortune. Later, wander through the night market, browse for handmade souvenirs, and soak in the romantic glow of lantern-lit streets before returning to Da Nang, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.
